In addition to updating this website at least once a week, some friends and I have a
quarterly e-zine "Encouraging Women With Hearts for Their Homes. I also have a
blog for grandparents called The Grand Connection (new posts are on Tuesdays
and Fridays).  

I've written several books (including Help for Busy Moms), and articles for The
Family Room, HomeLife, Discovery Years, Fresh Outlook, Maumelle Living,
examiner.com, and other publications.

Here's a summary of links on my homepage:

  • From time to time I will post a Bible study on the website. The most recent
    study is on Randy Alcorn's wonderful book about Heaven. If you click on the
    Bible Study tab you'll find weekly lessons that you can do at your own pace.

  • If you click on Articles you will be taken to an index of various articles about
    parenting, marriage, and leaving a legacy. You will also find an index of
    Nancy Downing's "Ask a Teacher" columns. (Nancy was a USA Today
    teacher of the year.)

  • If you are looking for a speaker, the Speaker tab will take you to a page of
    my possible speaking topics. And the Blog tab will bring you to The Grand
    Connection blog (written to grandparents).

  • Writers, you may want to click on the special Writer's tab. You'll find a list of
    upcoming conferences for writers and helpful resources.

  • If you would like to learn a little more about the books I have written or more
