Discuss the history of Valentine’s Day Valentine's Day is also a great time for us to talk with our children/grandchildren about the real meaning of love! You may want to: Read 1 Corinthians 13 and discuss its meaning with your children/grandchilden. Pray that your family will be filled with the love of God. Go to biblegateway.com with your child/grandchild (in person, together online, etc.) Then do a search for Bible verses that have the word “love” in them. Select several and discuss them together.
